Massage Therapist Logo

I know I'm posting few and far between. The economy is so super slow, so I just haven't had much to work on.

I did, however, get a design job for a licensed massage therapist this week.

Per her instructions, here is what I created!

I am very happy with it. Just waiting to hear back from my client!

Puppy Power!

A commissioned logo job, I was asked to incorporate the "Power to the people" fist with a puppy's paw for a local Animal Activist group.

I think it turned out pretty cool :)

I reworked an existing design purchased from istock to create my mom's team's shirt design for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day.

life is good...

lots of personal family stuff going on in the last month or so... i've been focusing any extra energy i have to my 9-5 at the shop.

i have lots to share, but no time to really post. i did find time to update my portfolio site, so go check that out!

something fun for my sister...

my sister is expecting her third child (i think it will be a boy!) early next year. she compiling weekly pictures of her belly profile and i'll be putting them all together montage style... :) i'm really excited about her pregnancy, so it was fun to work on this today...

very rough cut, i'm only working with 10 weeks of pictures, lol...

not only have i picked up a few personal clients this week, i think i landed TWO big jobs at work!

i'm doing print work for harrison's pediatrician and stoked about it! :)

i'm also meeting with someone this week to discuss some print work for his roofing company. this guy also owns a couple of tanning salons, a party rental place, and a few other small businesses. one of his roofers was in here today and said that he spends tons of money on print and internet advertising but that he's getting it all from so many different places. wouldn't it be nice for him to get it all from one little shop? :)

i talked with the boss man today. we're going to rearrange the floor so that i can have my own office space that is sort of tucked away and quiet. i'm super excited about that!

and just because i haven't posted any work in a while, here's the postcard i designed for one of our mailbox clients here at the shop. our shop did her cards last year, before we had a designer on staff... so it was up to her to do the layout --> it looked bad last year. lol. weird pixelated photo... just bad, bad, bad stuff... so i made this one for her and i'm pretty happy with it. hopefully we'll order these this week.

is it time for my vacation yet?

i'm so stressed this week! just a lot of little projects... between my imaj works stuff and my 9-5 stuff, i'm feeling a bit stretched.

i think after today, i'll be caught up, which will be VERY nice. i need a bit of a breather...
